Research Interests

MOFs rose up quickly and may potentially address several challenges such as gas sequestration, separation, drug release, etc.
I developed great interest in the imagination, geometrical modeling and synthesis of novel MOFs with complex architectures, based on highly coordinated polynuclear clusters or metal-organic polyhedra.
Of course, I aim for useful materials and consider their functionalization as a possible way to tune/improve their properties to reach the next step: industrial applications.
