Post-docs are sought with experience in the general area of MOFs. The ideal candidate should have strong back ground in chemical synthesis of metal organic frameworks (MOFs). Additional experience with MOF thin film deposition and/or electrochemical testing is a plus.
- Our project has two thrusts. One thrust is to design new MOFs with electrochemically active ligands to enhance charge storage on MOF surfaces and develop better understanding how charge storage on MOF surface occur. The second thrust is to develop devices (capacitive energy storage devices) using MOF thin films, hence experience in making MOF thin films is a big plus.
- This is a collaborative project of leading research groups in MOFs (Prof. MohamedEddaoudi) and capacitive energy storage (Prof. Husam Alshareef).
- A generous compensation package will be offered that includes: competitive tax-free salary, free housing and utilities, free health care (Medical and dental), 20 days annual vacation with roundtrip tickets.
- Appointments are for one year and may be renewed up to three years by mutual agreement.
