A Royal Society of Chemistry Faraday Discussion, entitled "New Directions in Porous Crystalline Materials" took place between 5-7 June 2017, Edinburgh (UK). The aim of the discussion meeting was to develop fundamental understanding of key aspects in the chemistry of porous crystalline materials: chemical properties (i.e. catalysis, small molecule reactivity, post-synthetic tuning), electronic properties (i.e. magnetism, conductivity, and photophysics), and physical properties (adsorption and separation).
Posters were displayed throughout the meeting and The Faraday Division Poster Prize (awarded to the best poster presented by a student), was won by Mr Zhijie Chen, a PhD student with Professor Eddaoudi's research group.
