Dr. Vera Solovyeva
Vera's research is related to the design, synthesis and application of new organic coumpounds in Metal-Organic Frameworks construction, nanomaterial fabrication, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry and catalysis.
Vera holds a PhD from the Moscow State University (2007, Russia). She worked as a senior research scientist in the Chemical Diversity Research Institute (2007-2011, Moscow, Russia), before joining Kaust in Saudi Arabia for a post-doctoral fellow in the Catalysis Center.

Dr. Prashant Bhatt
Prashant's research focused on structure-property relationship of the materials. He is specifically interested in developing new porous materials with interesting properties and applications.
Prashant received his B.Sc. in Chemistry (2002) and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (2002) from the University of Baroda (India), and holds a PhD in solid state chemistry from the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (2008, India). He moved to South Africa at the university of Stellenbosch, with Prof. Len Barbour (2008-2012).
