Research Interests

Valeriya Chernikova's research interests are focused on the synthesis and characterization of Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) thin films, which includes pure MOF thin films, or the films of the MOF nanoparticles imbedded into polymer matrix. As a consequence of MOF porosity, She is mostly interested in the applying such films in the area of membrane separation and gas sensing.
